INTRODUCTION TO THE ART OF AROMATHERAPEUTIC PERFUMERY

How to make your your first own perfume and what to do with it? In this workshop you can learn the basics of creating and working with aromatherapeutic blend. Also we will show you how can you extract aloe vera gel, use it and preserve it with your blend for cosmetic purposes. And as final touch you will be making a personalized soap scented with your own essence with addition of extra exfoliating ingredients.

LEARN TO:

• create your own unique aromatherapeutic blend – a perfume base.
• extract pure aloe vera gel, preserve it and use for cosmetic purpose
• make your own personalized soap with your unique perfume
• turn a basic soap blend into a wonderful scented exfoliation soap bar

TAKE HOME YOUR NEW GOODIES:

At the end of the workshop you can take home your “perfume” to scent your pulsation points, 250ml of purest aloe vera lotion to use for hydrating and cooling your skin and a set of excellent soaps ready to collect at GAIA bathtime shop as soon as they are dry and out of the molds.

Ease yourself into the GAIA spa time - learn how to prepare and administer your own spa treatments and beauty products, after the hands-on workshop you will receive
a signature massage or spa treatment from our therapist who will also show you how to use your new spa products for your family and friends. GAIA SPA master class is ongoing - every time featuring new products and techniques and you will achieve a GAIA certificate Level 1 with this first workshop.

If you only wish to treat yourself to one of the GAIA signature spa treatments from our menu, our therapists will be available for bookings from 11am till 18pm.

Aloe Vera Lip Balm

AT Gaia we really pay attention to what our customers need and one of things that had become a necessity was a very healing and caring lip balm for all season. The high humidity and the cold and heat and too much sun exposure gives a lot of people trouble with dry, chapped and sore lips. We have created a lip balm that will end all these troubles. Its is rich in Aloe Vera, extracts of chamomile, calendula to heal and prevent chapped lips and marshmellow and chickweed extracts to make you lips very soft and finally benzoin extract which is course the great antiseptic and anti-inflammatory ingredient.  We have added lashings of Aloe Vera which we grow organically ourselves on the Gaia Finca. Essential oils are chamomile and the new on the market essential oil of pear. All those wonderful ingredients make for a product bursting with active ingredients and properties which is both effective and delicious. Come by Gaia Bathtime and try it for free!

As every year the time that my Aloe's blossom and brings pleasure. It is just such a marvelous plant with so many amazing properties and such an interesting history that I could go on for ever. Here are just some of the things I have found out and some hints on how to use the plant at home. We often have the babies of my Aloe plants to give as gifts to our clients at the Gaia Bathtime shop ... so if you do not have plant of your own, do ask us for a small one the next time you pass through our shop!
