El planeta favorable:

Venus; es el planeta que favorece los encuentros sentimentales y las grandes pasiones.

El perfume mágico:

Lavanda: parece que tiene el poder de difundir, en torno a los nacidos bajo el signo de “Tauro”, un influjo favorable que actúa en el ambiente y e las personas; lo importante es que el perfume de lavanda sea de origen natural y no extraído de sustancias químicas.

La planta talismán:

Los “Tauro” notablemente reflexivos, prácticos y tenaces, sólo pueden escoger su propia planta talismán entre las que se hallan en plena floración desde los últimos de abril hasta finales de mayo: es decir, la rosa, que, además de ser símbolo de la belleza, es también precisamente el de la tenacidad. Cultivar una de estas plantas o al menos tener una rosa florecida en casa (mejor en jarron de cristal) proporciona na notable serie de provechos. Ante todo, el perfume de la rosa favorece la concentración mental, y crea una atmósfera de simpatía y cordialidad. Además, colocar algunos pétalos de rosas secos entre la ropa blanca, o en el guardarropa, equivale a acrecentar la atracción personal y a obtener éxitos en el campo de los negocios.

Las plantas de la salud:

Los nacidos bajo el signo de “Tauro” se encuentran particularmente favorecidos por la coincidencia de su signo con la estación primaveral, cuando las hojas y la corteza de ciertas plantas están llenas de savia y de preciosos aceites, y zumos medicinales.

Aprovechen este período para hacer una buena provisión de un grupo de plantas que serán muy beneficiosas para este signo.

El abedul: recoger sus hojas en el mes de myo y dejarlas secar a la sombra; 3 gramos de hojas en 100 gramos de agua caliente sirven para preparar una tisana con poder diurético y antiúrico. Se pueden beber de 3 a 5 tacitas al dia.

La salvia: para preparar un óptimo digestivo, recoger las hojas y usarlas tanto si están frescas como desecadas; meter unas pocas en una taza de agua hirviendo y dejarlas unos minutos; luego filtrarlas y endulzar.

Las margaritas dobles o “bellis perennis”: sirven para preparar eficaces emplastos contra contusiones, distorsiones o forúnculos; se deben coger las hojas más tiernas y aplastarlas con un mortero u objeto cualquiera hasta reducirlas casi a polvo.

Join us for a traditional kirtan - mantra singing accompanied by harmonium and drums as practiced in India. The mantras form integral part of yoga practice and offer opportunity calm the mind and balance out the breathing patterns. The kirtan will be followed by sufi meditation that also actuates over the body and mind through the sound vibration. It is quite unique practice, but with many profound benefits so I honestly recommend to try it out.

Fengh Shui in Gaia Bathtime

It is our pleasure to announce that with the arrival of spring we have brought a new flow of energy into our shop. The Gaia Girls, after imersing themselves into the studies of enhancing your home or work enviroment using the ancient technique of Fengh Shui, met one morning and moved everything in their shop. The first step with any Fengh Shui is always a very VERY thorough clean out to get rid of unnecessary items. It is amazing the number of things that can accumulate in any space which can be thrown out or given away.

The next step is to divide the space to be enhanced into six squares, each in turn will  be thoughtfully used to enhance certain important areas in ones living/work space.With this in mind we have created in our entrance a relaxing area where to welcome clients and where they may sit and relax and reflect a while. Books on various therapies, herbs and soap making have been placed to bring and welcome wisdom into our space and importantly the quadrant relevant to love has been thoughtfully rearranged  displaying everything in it in pairs. We are so pleased with our version of Gaia Fengh Shui that we have called it Gaia Perfecting and we are happy to advise you on how to enhance your own living pace to optimize the flow of creative and harmonious energy.

Spring is in the air and at at the Gaia Finca we are busy making soaps as always but also special treats for Easter like our re invented Soap on Rope. A delicious Mandarin, Lavender and Chamomile Soap that has been rolled in Calendula petals which will make a very nice non fattening easter egg substitute. For the young ones, and to mark the re launch of our baby range, we have made bunnies and sheep adding goats milk to the soap to make it extra gentle!
