The magical night of San Juan on 23 June is a very ancient festival which celebrates the arrival of the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere whose principal rite is a fire. The purpose of this ordinance was "to give more power to the Sun " from those days, was becoming "weaker" the days are getting shorter until the winter solstice. Symbolically, the fire also has a function "cleansing" in the people who watched.
To celebrate this event the small beach village of Camp de Mar is hosting a local arts and crafts market. Gaia Natural Products will be there as a full team tonight offering chair massage and free cups of caba to visiting frineds and customers. See you there tonight we hope!
