Personalized Soaps and Scents at Gaia

Most of the time our clients ask us to make them a scent that is reminiscent of the Hotel itself, its history and its place in the Mallorcian countryside.  It is always a pleasure to work with all those gorgeous fragrant smells that make up Mallorca. The scent of Es Cap Blau plays with all those perfumes that reach up from the still sun warm, pine needle covered ground at the end of a hot summers day, when you take a walk in the cool evening air. Pockets of scents to be discovered; wild thyme, lavender, pine, rosemary and basil and the metallic scent of the sea represented by essential oil of grapefruit.

One of my favourite soaps is actually one that I have made for my husbands Sea School  SOLARIS http://www.solarisatsea.com/.

 It is called Salty Seadog and is a Salt & Seaweed Soap which he gives as a present to the students on arrival on the boat. It is green, has chunks of seaweed and powdered seaweed in it & lashings of sea salt to cleanse, exfoliate and heal small wounds and abrasions…. It smells of eucalyptus and it’s a lovely memory to take home to remember your sailing week in Mallorca.
