Friday 3rd of August of August finds a local cafts fair in Sant Telmo to celebrate the occasion of the battle between the Moros and the Cristians. An excellent battle is acted out on the beach at sunset time and later in the night there are fabulous firworks. Many local arts and crafts stalls are set up along the promenade which these days is a hive of new activity with life music, bars and ice cream shops.
