Gaiabathtime Fundraiser to start 2013

At Gaiabathtime we started the New Year 2013 with a Fundraiser. Anni Rolfe from Gordonstoun School in Scotland who calls Mallorca her home is raising money for the Thailand Water Project and Gaia Girls decided to help her raise the money she is expected to raise to qualify to be along on a work party this summer to build tanks for clean water in remote villages in Thailand.
We decied to teach Anni how to do Chair Massage and her mother Jane would be serving English Afternoon Tea all afternoon . Our resident Therapist Blanca Ticha coached Anni who was intuativ and quick to learn a decent Chair Massage. The Musical Ensemble Dalt Murarad who had used Gaiabathtime as a location for their new you tube music video agreed to come and play at the event. So the scene was set. Friday the 4th all Gaia Girls were in action, massaging and many friends of Gaia joined the event for 12 long hours during which Scones and Cream, Red Velvet Cupcake, Carrot Cake, small Cucumber and Cream Cheese Sandwiches and other typical English Afternoon Tea Treats were served. We are blown away by the generosity of all that took part and we managed to raise an amazing 480 Euro! Well done Anni for her Marathon of Chair Massages! Thanks to ALL theat helped make the day,
