Gaia light Aloe Vera Moisturizer

There are over 300 species of Aloe Vera, which originally came to Spain from Africa, Arabia, Madagascar and the South Seas.
Aloe produces ‘ red hot poker’ flowers from late autumn to early summer. Here at the Gaia Finca at the beginning of May.
Originally Aloe came to the attention of Alexander the great as a plant that greatly aided the healing of wounded soldiers after battle and it is thanks to him that we find it in abundance almost anywhere in the world
Aloe juice is legendary in native medicine and many gardeners grow it close to the kitchen door so that a cut leaf is readily available to deal with burns, cuts, sun- burn, skin irritations and inflammations.
A tough resistant plant that will grow anywhere provided the light is good.
At Gaia Natural Products http://www.gaia-natural-mallorca.com/ we use is lavishly in all our soaps, our moisturizers, Baby Balm, Healing Balm and Body Lotion.
To use the gel at home, make a small cut into a leaf close to the ground, and then tear the rest.
Stand in a glass of water for 1-½ hours.
Trim spiky edge away from the leaf, and then cut open
horizontally.
Spread straight onto the affected area after
Using a spoon to scrape out the gel.
Place 1 tablespoon into 1 liter of water, wait till it jellifies then drink over a couple of days for a wonderful spring detox.
